Martin Dougiamas will be awarded a UVic-UCC honorary doctorate

For those of us who have worked in translation studies at Vic over the past ten years or so, it cannot have escaped anybody’s attention how vital the contribution of the Moodle platform has been to this endeavour.

Moodle is the brainchild of the Australian polymath Martin Dougiamas and a labour of love of thousands of users, designers, administrators and programmers all over the world.

In a timely move, UVic-UCC has decided to recognise Martin’s achievement with the award of an honorary doctorate.
